Diana Wong

Diana Wong

Sport: tennis

Wong might have won this honor before if she had decided to play BIIF tennis the past three seasons.

Instead, Wong opted to concentrate on her studies and seek balance a while maintaining a tournament schedule in the United States Tennis Association.

It’s easy to why the recent graduate Hawaii Academy of Arts and Science in Pahoa says she has no regrets. She combined with Sara Tsukamoto last weekend on Oahu to claim a sectional qualifying tournament that puts them one step from the U.S. Open. Meanwhile, Wong has a scholarship awaiting her to play tennis at Division I New Mexico.
